Toronto Island Front Porch & Exterior Renovation

Exterior renovation of a cottage in Seguin Township, including the full rebuild of the front entry porch, new cedar deck and stair framing, and structural modifications to the exterior wall to accommodate a new door and window opening. The scope included demolition of the existing failing porch structure, installation of new pressure-treated framing, Tyvek HomeWrap weather barrier, cedar decking boards, and new stairs with open-riser cedar stringers. The project also involved cutting a large new opening in the cottage's board-and-batten metal siding to allow for a replacement window and improved entry. The completed porch provides a clean, functional entry point that complements the cottage's green exterior.
